Universal Mailworks
A print and mail operation, run on one system.
- The problem
- Direct mail production is a deadline business with a lot of moving parts: a quote becomes a job, a job becomes artwork and proofs, proofs become a mailing with postal requirements, and all of it has to invoice correctly at the end.
- Our approach
- We built both halves of that: the public-facing site where customers understand the service and start a request, and the internal platform where the shop actually runs the work.
- Where it stands
- The public site and the internal platform are both live. Quoting, job tracking, proofs, mailing workflow, and invoicing run through the same system rather than through separate tools.

What we built
Customer-facing site
A clear presentation of services and capabilities with an intake path that captures what estimating actually needs to quote.
Quoting and jobs
Structured quotes that convert into jobs, carrying specs, quantities, and requirements forward instead of being retyped.
Proofs and approvals
Proof rounds with review, comments, and sign-off attached to the job record so approval history is never in question.
Mailing workflow
The production and mailing steps modeled as a workflow, with status visible to the team and to the customer.
Invoicing and operations
Completed work flows to invoicing, and internal operations tools give management current visibility across active jobs.
